One year ago, I buried my husband. One year ago, I held his hand and said goodbye. Now I spend most of my days lost somewhere between trying to remember every smallest detail of our lives, and trying to forget it all. I fill my hours with work until I’m too exhausted to remember him, to feel anything at all. One year, 365 days—and then one knock at my door changes everything. A letter from him, a last request, a secret will: My dearest Nadia,Trust me, my love. One last time, trust me. Sometimes the epilogue to one story is the beginning of another.

Dearest Friends,
First, we really want you to read this book. It feels very special to us and we hope you agree. In the midst of all the craziness going on in the world over the past few months, Jack and I found these characters and The Cabin. Inspired by a real place that we love, we imagined this very unique and beautiful love story. We hope it gives you the same feels to read as it gave us to write it. I guess we needed a good cry and some heart-mending.

This book is a standalone, and because of the nature of this story and how different it is from so many of our recent others, we have decided to put this book in KU. We know that while many of you might be excited about that, we are sure as well that others might be bummed it isn’t available everywhere, and we are very sorry about that. We felt this was just the right time and the right book to place into the KU program and make it Amazon-exclusive for 90 days. Please understand this decision wasn’t made lightly and we hope you can understand and support us.

We love you all so much,
stay safe and be good. (like Jack)
Pumpkins, lattes, and spice, Jasinda and Jack too!
